Step 1 – Initial Meeting. Meet with Jimmy Francis at J Francis Builders office. We will access your needs, design requirements, budgets and location of build. We will also explain in more detail our unique processes. Just a general overview meeting.
Step 2 – House plan design. This is when we will meet our architect and start designing a beautiful home customized for you. Very exciting stage. Many questions will be asked about your specific needs
Step 3 – Your plan review. After several architect meetings we will then meet together with a conceptual and close to final drawing. At this point we will normally be making minor changes. Don’t worry we are with you all the way !!
Step 4 – Pricing. We price the house according to the plans. We go over all specifications. We will keep you in budget ! We have made many adjustments and can offer endless opportunities to achieve a budget. Remember this is a team effort !
Step 5 – Form a contract. After all specifications and pricing are agreed upon we will draft a contract for your review. This contract protects you the homeowner as much as us.
Step 6 – Lot Clearing and foundation. Our engineer will pin the foot print on the lot and we encourage all of our clients to see it before we dig for footings and foundation. Our project is coming out of the ground !
Step 7 – Framing and Mechanicals. All the house framing is installed as well as window, doors, and all rough in Mechanicals. An on site meeting will be helpful to explain any building processes or answer any questions or concerns. Again a very exciting stage
Step 8 – Interior finishes. All the interior finishes are now being applied to your home. We feel its important to have weekly meetings on site just to review the progress and answer any questions.
Step 9 – Completion and customer care – We will perform a thorough walk through explaining everything about your home. The good part is we continue to always be available to all of our homeowners and will always keep in touch. We are proud of our work !
